A BBL<\/a> is a cosmetic surgery that enhances the shape and size of the buttocks.\u00a0 Many patients have undergone this procedure and have been happy with the results. However, some patients may begin to desire a different look and don\u2019t want the full look a BBL provides. But can you reverse a BBL?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A BBL can be revised but cannot be completely reversed because the surgery involves transferring fat from certain unwanted areas of the body and injecting it into target areas of the buttocks. However, a BBL revision is possible and can slim the shape of your buttocks using liposuction to remove the fat from under the skin. It is also recommended to wait at least a year after your BBL surgery before undergoing a BBL revision. This ensures the fat transfer has adequate time to settle so the patient can see the final results.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This will resize the BBL to a\u00a0 certain extent. However,\u00a0 it will not look identical to your buttocks before the BBL. For a BBL revision to achieve the best results, you must have good skin elasticity, as the skin needs to be able to bounce back once the fat is removed. So, yes, a BBL can be reversed to a certain degree, but it\u2019s important to consult with your cosmetic surgeon before undergoing a\u00a0 BBL revision.<\/span><\/p>\n
