A breast lift surgery<\/a> corrects breast sagging<\/a> that occurs due to age, pregnancy, or other factors. As part of the surgery, the nipple is moved up the breast. This can be achieved in different ways depending on what is necessary to adequately address the sagging. One of the reasons the nipples can look different following a breast lift is because the free nipple graft technique was used. In this case, the nipple and areola are actually removed and stitched higher on the breast after the lift is finished.
