For people who do not usually sleep on their backs, this can prove difficult. They often end up asking, \u201cHow long do you have to sleep on your back after breast lift with implants?\u201d <\/span>Generally, you will be instructed to sleep on your back for around eight weeks. While this may seem like a long time, it is important that you do not apply any major pressure to the breasts as this can affect the positioning of the breast implants<\/a>. Also, for at least the first two weeks, it will likely be uncomfortable to lay on your breasts in any position.<\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, with a breast lift, you will likely have vertical incisions on the breasts. If you lay on or against these incisions, this can hinder healing and even cause incisions to open if too much pressure is placed on them. Therefore laying on your back is the best way to avoid this.<\/span><\/p>\n
