Dr. Jiles

Dr. Emily Jiles brings her experience and expertise to Sarasota Surgical Arts. Dr. Jiles completed a cosmetic surgery fellowship in New York City where she refined her surgical skills specifically for the cosmetic industry. Dr. Jiles is a member of the American Association of Cosmetic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, and American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. She is thrilled to bring her knowledge and skills to Sarasota Surgical Arts.

Dr. Jiles grew up in Chesapeake, Virginia. In school, she played basketball and soccer and enjoyed learning and playing musical instruments including the piano and trumpet. Despite these interests, Dr. Jiles knew from a young age that she wanted to enter the medical world. After completing her biochemistry degree at Florida State University, Dr. Jiles moved to West Virginia to obtain her doctorate.

Completing her preliminary training as a doctor, Dr. Jiles completed her general surgery residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York. During this time, Dr. Jiles became increasingly interested in the field of cosmetic surgery. As a doctor, she wanted to make a long lasting, positive impact on her patients. Cosmetic surgery allowed her to do this, helping change patient’s lives and providing a service to her patients that often helped them overcome obstacles and insecurity.

As a cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Jiles specializes in Mommy Makeover and liposuction procedures, although she performs all types of cosmetic surgery including breast augmentation and tummy tuck. In addition to her abilities as a cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Jiles is a certified vein specialist and helps treat varicose veins.

Returning to live in Florida for the first time since she graduated from Florida State University, Dr. Jiles is honored to join the team at Sarasota Surgical Arts. When not serving her patients, she enjoys spending time with her three-year-old daughter.
